Plants and spices: a great way to cut back on seasoning

Seasoning plays an important role in counting the daily calories, however, small tricks can help to flavor dishes without realizing it. An example are plants such as basil, rosemary, sage, mint, ginger etc or spices such as chilli pepper, curry, cinnamon and countless others.

Furthermore, the regular use of spices and aromatic herbs is therefore recommended to exploit their therapeutic qualities both in the kitchen and in the preparation of herbal teas and decoctions. In fact, among the main qualities we find anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, antipyretic but also tonic, digestive and vasodilator properties.

There would be a lot to say for each plant or spice and therefore considerations will be given in more depth in other posts.

Experimenting is the key and obviously having a reference person who can have pairing ideas would be the best :)
